Tender Birth of Anointment
Lediya Jacob
On a rated sliding scale, birth is always tender, embedded with integral nurturing. The analogy of birth, through Jesus Christ is the heartwood of Christianity. “In His great mercy, He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”-I Peter: 1. 3. “Truly, I tell you, unless a person is born from above he cannot see.”-John: 3. 3. In the altitude of spiritual life prevails the tender birth of anointment. The essentials for the progressive genesis of infancy are appropriate monitoring, nursing, and administering medication from the Word of God. In brief, the prayer brings forth the offspring of anointment. The conviction by one of the famous Canadian Christian Leaders, Oswald. J. Smith is, “I am perfectly confident that the man who does not spend hours alone with God will never know the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
For five years, a woodcutter named John worked for the company, but never got a raise. The company hired Bill and within a year he got a raise. John resented for being treated like this and went to his Boss to talk about the same. The Boss replied, “You are still cutting the same number of trees you were cutting five years ago. We are a result-oriented company and would be happy to give you a raise if your productivity goes up.” John went back and started hitting harder and harder spending his maximum energy and time, but still couldn’t cut more trees. With a strong sense of melancholy, he went back to his Boss and told his dilemma. The Boss advised him to go and talk to Bill. The overworked John, with lazy footsteps, approached Bill, and with a feeble voice asked him how he managed to cut more trees. Bill answered, “After every tree I cut, I take a break for two minutes and sharpen my axe. When was the last time you sharpened your axe!?
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and Power, and how He went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of devil, because God was with him.”-Acts: 10. 38. The prime criterion for touchness and formability with God is to kneel down, clasp the hands and soak in prayers. The prayer sharpens the spiritual life. “He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray, and when it was evening, He was there alone.”-Matthew: 14. 23. As a medium is essential for the plain white light to illuminate its vibrant spectrum of colors, a personal time with God is indispensable to blossom spring in our life. It is the acquisition of self-assembly to the commandments of the Lord like Aaron and his sons which salved their conscience from the rebellious Israelites. “The next day Moses entered the tent and saw that Aaron’s staff, which represented the tribe of Levi, had not only sprouted but had budded, blossomed and produced almonds.”-Numbers: 17. 8. The standard aspect ratio of anointment is the Heavenly desires to the Earthly desires. The higher the heavenly desires and lesser the earthly desires, the higher is the sputtering of anointment.
The poignant background music before the birth of anointment is the concrete love towards righteousness. “You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.”-Hebrew: 1. 9. The anointed is sealed by God and it mars the beauty from and to the earth. It is a charge separation of the heavenly and earthly desires. “I am established. I am anointed and sealed by God.”- II Corinthians: 1. 21-22.
Ultimately, my dears, take this perfect moment to sharpen the axe of spiritual life in the workbench of God with the tears of prayer for a tender birth of anointment.
