The Solaced Rain!
Lediya Jacob
The highest clothing value of nature is rain. It transduces the vitality of life, cleanliness, and happiness. A majority has experienced the realm of blessed beauty of the crowned rainbow smiling through the vented skylights after a random fall of gentle raindrops. “The LORD will open up for you His rich storehouse, the Heavens, to give your land rain in due season and to bless all the works of your hands.”-Deuteronomy: 28. 12.
The inherent drylands are elevated to wetlands with the showers of solaced rain. The mainstream of rejuvenating water begins at the highlands of affliction. An underlying quoted fact by the internationally known Evangelist, Billy Graham is, “Out of pain and problems have come the sweetest songs, the most poignant poems, the most gripping stories.” “When they walk through the valley of weeping it will become a place of refreshing spring. The autumn rains will clothe it with blessings.”-Psalms: 84. 6. Faith encompasses a sharpened view of showers of blessings masked by the dark cloud cover. “And Elijah said to Ahab, ‘Go, eat and drink, for there is a sound of a heavy rain.”-I Kings: 18. 41. The heavy solaced rain reviving the languished souls shadowed by the flames of hardships, subsequently engrossing the absorptive trait of a break-ground. “Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God.”-Hebrews: 6. 7. The paramount significance of rain is to cleanse the earth and fill it with the purest form of water which is a tantamount stratum of scriptural inspiration, cleansing the hearts to fill in with the Holy Spirit. “For I will pour water on the thirsty land and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my spirit on your offering and my blessing on your descendants. They will spring up like grass on a meadow, like poplar trees by flowing streams.”-Isaiah: 44. 3- 4.
The heavy rainfall often accompanies a strong wind resulting in a wider area of the downpour. The conformable position of the windward side is only understood by listening to the sound or feeling it within. “The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but don’t know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”-John: 3. 8. It is essential to listen and feel the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit within breeds the breeze of evangelism at home creating the capillary waves touching the hearts of stones.
Meanwhile, my dear brothers and sisters, with this in mind, “Ask the LORD for rain in the springtime; it is the LORD who sends the thunderstorms. He gives showers of rain to all people, and plants of the field to everyone.”-Zechariah: 10. 1. The solaced rain flooding the spiritual life to swim in the windward side of the Holy Spirit.
