Motivational speeches inspire us to see more dreams, set goals and to pursue it! Even modern day preachers prioritise their preaching and writers use their pens to focus on setting dreams and goals, rather than seeking God’s will. And to support their ideas, they quote Bible verses out of context as well! Sad truth! They quote, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!” and tell the people, “Just dream big! Our God is big!” But the key factor that we ignore is the will of God!
Setting dreams is a part of planning our lives as per our desires. However God wants us to move according to His will which He reveals through divine visions and the word of God! And having dreams without intervention of God leads to destruction. “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.” Proverbs 14:12. We may be confident in our knowledge and understanding, in the step that we have taken, but the path may be destructive.
We plan and take the efforts to achieve our dreams; while in divine vision God takes care of it and we only have to follow Him on the path that He leads. “Where God guides, He provides”. Joseph had visions and God led him every step of the way. The path may seem difficult, but it is to mould us to be humble and meek when He leads us to the vision. Do not take a step by yourself, to accomplish a vision given by God. Just give God the lead and let Him control your life!
Have divine visions and set your minds on things above and not on things that perish!
