The first world into which we breathe for the first time, among whom we share our first cries and laughters, we land our first steps, the world which we become a part of and yet we haven’t choose or dreamt of being one- our family! Family is the most important thing one can be blessed with and the greatest influence on a child on this earth. A beautiful bond that meliorates a house into a home. As a seed that germinates and slowly whose shoots emerge from the soil which gradually branches to different direction; yet stay connected to the roots that holds them together as one and when its tissues are wounded, as some branches break or leaves are damaged by insects, the plant repairs itself so is a quintessential family! However, the dark reality of today’s family is filled to the brim in every bulletin. Blood relations that desire blood instead of love and affection.
In His life on earth, Jesus preferred to address His disciples as brothers and children. Thereby, it’s a proof that He gave importance to family bonds too. In the New Testament, God reveals Himself as an elder brother (Matthew 28:10) and as a loving Father (John 13: 33).
Children look up to their fathers. Our fathers are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for our family . And elder brothers- teach us values, the best protectors, wonderful companions and strong supports for lifetime. This combo is everything. In a world of offers and discounts, family comes without a price tag and with a guarantee that you will be loved for ever, no matter what.
You have GOD as your family, you are blessed more than your heart can ever perceive. Be thankful. Live your best cause you have Him as your fam till the end of the ages.
