Does a believer have different seasons in their spiritual life? Yes, of course! These seasons teach us different things to make us better people and to be deep-rooted in GOD and His promises. Many people fail to identify these different seasons in their lives, and they drift from the purpose of GOD, as they feel that GOD has totally deserted them! Always remember, GOD is a teacher who teaches us with real-life situations, and the risk factor is really high. But He never fails to teach us what He intends.
Spiritual seasons are just like the different seasons in nature. In every season, the aspect of climate differs but it gives us a hope that this will soon end, and a better season is at hand. Poets have explained well about the seasons in nature and they have compared them to our short lives on Earth!
In Canada, the seasons are unpredictable. The winter may change all on a sudden and the temperatures may rise to 10 degree Celsius. And on the very next day, the temperature may fall low as -20 degree Celsius. We can never depend on the weather predictions and the inhabitants have adjusted to the fluctuations as they have a feeling that this too won’t last for long! These seasons are very essential for nature’s sustenance. Similarly, every spiritual season will not last for long, but it gives way to the next, making us stronger in the LORD and His promises. GOD knows the apt season for our lives, and He will be with us throughout! The GOD who walks with us in all the seasons gives us the greatest joy and the hope to move forward!
The different seasons of our lives may make us feel down, or it may make us depressed. But remember it is a cycle and GOD’s will prevails in every season. His mercy and grace are renewed in each season of our life.
