Priority- the fact or condition of being regarded or treated as more important. We often hear this word in church sermons! If God is given the “first priority”, (though this phrase is grammatically wrong) the rest will be successful! According to Colossians 3:17, “And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” As a Christian, Christ must not be the priority in our life, He must be our life! “If anyone is in Christ, He is a new creation.” The ideology of prioritizing God could lead to independency in the spiritual journey as it could possibly add a pseudo-confirmation of God’s will in our life! Or in other words, “I have set Christ as the first priority, whatever I execute, I execute through Him.” Leading to a life not seeking His guidance through the Word of God or through prayer! A Christian matures when he/she has more clarity about the fact that ‘the more we mature, the more we depend!’ Independency is not a ‘doctrine’ of Christian life, it’s a thought process of this world! “When Christ who is OUR LIFE appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.” Colossians 3:4. #liesbelievedinthechurch #belikethebereans #lie4
