A word book specifies Grace as finesse which means great subtlety and tact in handling difficult situations. And also as, to upgrade which means raise (something) to a higher standard, in particular improve, by adding or replacing components.  Bible communicates Grace as a clemency, a favour, love and a share to be called children of God, partakers of the divine nature and of an eternal life. It is a gift from God; a generous one, totally unexpected and undeserved help.

Power is specified as the ability or capacity to do something or act in a particular way and the capacity or ability to direct or influence the behaviour of others or the course of events.

For a Christian, Grace and Power (Holy Spirit) are a requisite hallmark of assured and unerring days on Earth. 2 Corinthians 12:9 says, “But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” When everything goes wrong, when this world doesn’t give a single reason to live even an hour further, when our kith and kin cause us emotional pain, and when those hurts leave us wrecked, Grace repairs and equips us. And reminds us no matter what, His grace is more than enough. Make the Holy Spirit your standpoint and the zeal towards your calling. You shouldn’t be influenced (react) because of the events instead let your events be manipulated by the strength (response) of the Holy Spirit.

Why to function as a complaint box when you were actually called to have a view point which equates perfectly with the interpretation of the Scripture! Why to be a grumbler when you are called to influence like a salt which makes everything satisfactory, desirable and finer (Matthew 5:13). Why to sow sorrow or agony when you are called to be a light in the darkness which shines and isn’t hid under a bushel. (Matthew 5:14).

You may be good at giving an equal and opposite reaction for every action but better is a response staging the glory of God, because of the Grace and the strength of Holy Spirit entrusted in this jars of clay.

 Have a good day!
